Clemson

HIKING CLUB

Having begun my time at Clemson in the fall of 2020, not many clubs and organizations were meeting in person. I was thrilled to know that there was still at least one space that we could all share: the great outdoors!

The Hiking Club was founded in the spring of 2020, however, the club was put on hold due to Clemson going virtual. The club started again in the fall 2020 with about 10 members. Each week, more and more students came out and joined us on the club's Saturday and Sunday excursions around the Upstate region. By the end of the semester, the club grew to a couple hundred members with some hikes hosting upwards of 40 students!!

For the past two years, the Hiking Club has been an active part of my Clemson experience and I would love to share Clemson Hiking Club experience along with the beauty of the Upstate and North-South Carolina region. Below are some pictures from our hikes, and I recommend visiting these spots if you ever have the chance!
